US Baiyang Scholarship Program

Project Goals

Provide financial assistance to qualified students in China, Taiwan, and US to finish their studies.


Student Scholarship Qualifications

  1. Primary Qualifications: Respects for parents, teachers, and elders that comes from financially stressed families. Well rounded students that are honest and kind to others even in their time of need
  2. Prioritized Qualifications: Achieved academic excellence with the tenacity to succeed
  3. Other Qualifications: Set an excellent example and contributes in both school and society in general


Scholarship Distribution Process

  1. Prior to September annually, Baiyang Foundation will forward the full scholarship ($1200) to the participating partner school for distribution
  2. Participating school has the responsibility to distribute scholarship to students on a monthly basis


Partnering School and Baiyang Foundation Responsibilities

  1. Partnering school is responsible to provide a list of qualified candidates to Baiyang foundation for review by July of each academic year
  2. Partnering school is responsible to provide a report on students receiving aid every January and July of the academic year
  3. Baiyang Foundation is responsible for sending the scholarship acceptance letter by September
  4. Partnering school is responsible for terminating scholarship and immediate notification to Baiyang foundation if scholarship recipient violates major student code of conduct and/or local applicable laws.

Scholarship 2010 Budget

  1. Total of 5 scholarship for 2010. Each scholarship is $1200 USD. (Total scholarship budget for 2010 is $6,000 USD)
  2. US, Taiwan, and China will each receive a minimum of 1 scholarship per country
