Damoa Gong #6 Attacking from Two Sides

  1. Bring your feet together facing the front. Hands hang down naturally to your sides. Stand straight.
  2. Take one big step forward with your left foot. Bend your left knee as shown in the picture above. Your right leg should be straight. Keep your head and waist straight.
  3. The inside of your left foot should lie in a straight line with the inside of your right foot. Your left heel should not lift up from the ground.
  4. Press your body down as low as possible. Close your mouth and bite down with your teeth with the tip of your tongue touching the roof of your mouth. Your toes should grab the floor firmly.
  5. Extend your left arm toward the front and make a fist similar to shooting an arrow. Focus your eyes at your left fist.
  6. As in pulling a bow, raise your right hand to your face and pull back to behind your right ear.
  7. Keep your body and shoulder straight and perpendicular to your arms.
  8. While inhaling from your diaphragm, push your left fist toward the front and pull your right hand toward the back and hold your breath for 5 seconds similar to previous forms.
  9. Relax your body back to the starting position while exhaling.
  10. An in and out breath counts as one cycle. Alternate your legs 6 cycles each to the right and left side for a total of 12 cycles.
