US Baiyang Scholarship Program
Project Goals
Provide financial assistance to qualified students in China, Taiwan, and US to finish their studies.
Student Scholarship Qualifications
- Primary Qualifications: Respects for parents, teachers, and elders that comes from financially stressed families. Well rounded students that are honest and kind to others even in their time of need.
- Prioritized Qualifications: Achieved academic excellence with the tenacity to succeed
- Other Qualifications: Model to peers in both school and society in general
Scholarship Distribution Process
- Prior to September annually, Baiyang Foundation will forward the full scholarship ($1200) to the participating partner school for distribution
- Participating school has the responsibility to distribute scholarship to students on a monthly basis
Partnering School Responsibilities
- 學校負責在每學年末（七月）提供申請助學金的學生的學習、生活報告
- 學校負責每學期期末（一月和七月）提供受資助的所有學生的學習、生活報告
- 資助方在每學年開始（九月）向被資助的學生寄發白陽助學金通知書。
- 受資助的學生如有荒疏學業或違反規章或品德不良的行為，學校方應隨時終止對該學生的支助。
Scholarship 2010 Budget
- Total of 5 scholarship for 2010. Each scholarship is $1200 USD. (Total scholarship budget for 2010 is $6,000 USD)
- US, Taiwan, and China will each receive a minimum of 1 scholarship per country
