US Baiyang Scholarship Program

Project Goals

Provide financial assistance to qualified students in China, Taiwan, and US to finish their studies.

Student Scholarship Qualifications

1. Primary Qualifications: Respects for parents, teachers, and elders that comes from financially stressed families. Well rounded students that are honest and kind to others even in their time of need.
2. Prioritized Qualifications: Achieved academic excellence with the tenacity to succeed
3. Other Qualifications: Model to peers in both school and society in general

Scholarship Distribution Process

1. Prior to September annually, Baiyang Foundation will forward the full scholarship ($1200) to the participating partner school for distribution
2. Participating school has the responsibility to distribute scholarship to students on a monthly basis

Partnering School Responsibilities

1. 學校負責在每學年末（七月）提供申請助學金的學生的學習、生活報告
2. 學校負責每學期期末（一月和七月）提供受資助的所有學生的學習、生活報告
3. 資助方在每學年開始（九月）向被資助的學生寄發白陽助學金通知書。
4. 受資助的學生如有荒疏學業或違反規章或品德不良的行為，學校方應隨時終止對該學生的支助。

Scholarship 2010 Budget

1. Total of 5 scholarship for 2010. Each scholarship is $1200 USD. (Total scholarship budget for 2010 is $6,000 USD)
2. US, Taiwan, and China will each receive a minimum of 1 scholarship per country
