Damoa Gong #4 The Spirit of Moving Mountains

  1. Open your feet as wide as your shoulders with toes pointing to the front. Bend your knees moderately while grabbing the ground with your toes firmly. (Damoa Gong form 2, step 1)
  2. Raise your arms so that they are in a straight line with your body as shown above.
  3. Fully extend all your fingers and push the palm of your hands out with your middle finger pointing up. Your hands/palm/arm should be at 90 degrees.
  4. First, slowly rotate your hands toward the front and maintain your hands and arms at 90 degrees.
  5. When you rotate your hands, slowly breathe in from your diaphragm. Hold your breath for 5 seconds similar to previous forms.
  6. Relax your body, slowly breath out when you rotate your hands back with the middle finger pointing up.
  7. Slowly rotate your hands backward and maintain your hands and arms at 90 degrees, and follow the steps 5 and 6 to complete the backward cycle.

Repeat this step 6 times to the front and 6 times to the back.
