Damoa Gong #7 Kick the Sky

  1. Raise your right knee and your arms toward the sky.
  2. Push up with both your palms (the upper body movement is same as Damoa Gong form 1.5).
  3. While raising your right knee, your toes should be pointed toward the ground. Your right toe should be barely touching your left knee. Your hamstring should be parallel to the ground.
  4. Using the thoracic diaphragm, breathe slowly through your nose. At the same time, raise your arms and extend the palms upward facing the sky. Your hand/waist/arm should be at 90 degrees angle.
  5. Fully extend your fingers. Keep your arms straight up. Your middle fingers from both hands should be touching.
  6. Inhale from your diaphragm while raising your arms. Hold your breath for 5 seconds similar to previous forms.
  7. Relax and bring your body to its original position. Repeat this 6 times each with your right and left legs.
  8. Your eyes should be looking either directly toward the front or up.
